Terry VanNoy — Ex Officio member
Married to Teri Lynn for over 20 years, the VanNoy's have 2 children. Son Adam attends SFCC and Alyssa is a University of Idaho Vandal in Moscow, Idaho. Soccer, tennis, and music (piano and guitar) are among his hobbies.
Terry has worked for over 20 years in the Mead School District as a classroom teacher, and, recently, as a technology and curriculum support expert (tech TOSA). His duties included developing training classes and materials to help teachers learn how to implement and integrate technology into their lessons. He worked for 4 years as a "laptop" teacher as part of Mead Middle School's Learning Lab, teaching 7th grade math classes while showing students how to work in a wireless, internet-connected classroom. Currently, he teaches mathematics at Mead high school, and is proud to be a panther.
Terry's work on the Mead Education Foundation board includes being the contact person in the district for teachers interested in applying for grants. He also helps maintain this web site by taking pictures and recording audio interviews with past grant winners. He continues to be amazed and humbled by the dedication and talents of the board members and the teachers of the Mead School District in their work.
