Dr. Tom Rockefeller — Ex Officio member
Dr. Tom Rockefeller has been the Superintendent of Mead School District for the past three years.
Tom has worked in education for over twenty-five years both in the classroom and as an administrator. In addition to being Superintendent in Pullman for six years, he taught in southwest Washington for fourteen years and also served as principal, curriculum director and director of technology. He comes to Mead with vast teaching and administrative experience and a strong leadership style.
Dr. Rockefeller received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas, a master's degree from the University of Portland and a doctorate in education from Portland State University. He earned two principal endorsements and his superintendent's endorsement from Washington State University.
Tom is married to Pera, a registered nurse. They have three children. His youngest is a freshman at Washington State University, and his other two children are research scientists in field of biology.
