Our Mission
The mission of the Mead Education Foundation is to foster excellence in learning for all students of the Mead School District through private fundraising and the establishment of a permanent endowment.

Our Vision
The vision for Mead Education Foundation is to raise private support from the community that will fund grant requests from teachers, students, and staff for the sole purpose of enhancing and strengthening the learning experience for our children. Our volunteer board reviews and approves qualified proposals and monitors the success of these efforts.

Our Purpose
The Mead Education Foundation was founded to support the teachers, staff, and students of the Mead School District. By gathering and focusing community resources through fundraising efforts, we enhance the performance of your education tax dollars — while preparing the next generation of community leaders.

With your help, we can:

  • Reduce teachers' out-of-pocket expenses for basic school supplies. We know that students in need have major obstacles to overcome. Having the proper school supplies helps empower them toward better learning experiences. Building administrators have a principal's checkbook, which can be used for this purpose.
  • Fund grants for teacher innovation in education. Mead teachers do a great job for our kids — let's also give them the resources to engage students in innovative activities that regular funding doesn't allow. Take a look at current grant-winning projects!
  • Fully fund an endowment for educational excellence and sustainable future growth. We are pursuing corporate sponsorships and alumni gifts so that our impact may be ongoing.

With as little as ten dollars, you can help make a real difference in the quality of education in the Mead School District by supporting the kind of innovation in teaching and learning that can have an immeasurable impact on a student's life. Please join us as we invest in our students' futures!
