Grant Awards

Thank you to all who submitted grant applications to the Mead Education Foundation. Through the generous support of our sponsors and partners, the foundation was able to award about $3,600 in grants for three innovative projects.

All elementary school projects this time, these grants feature video podcasting equipment and hands-on learning tools for Social Studies curriculum learning targets. Congratulations to all grant winners!

Twice each year, the MEF awards grants for ideas and activities that build powerful learning experiences beyond the basics for the betterment of students attending Mead Public Schools. Projects that effectively integrate technology components are encouraged, but are not required.

Take a look at current grant-winning projects to see examples of how teachers, students, and school staff are being supported by the Mead Education Foundation.
