Vanessa Constable — Secretary and Ex Officio member

Vanessa and her family relocated to the US from Great Britain in 1992 when her husband Derek was transferred to Bayer's (now Hollister Stier's) Spokane location. Vanessa has been employed as an Information Specialist at the British Museum, and at several research universities in the UK. She has also been the National Organizer for a British charity.

Vanessa and Derek have 3 children all of whom have gone through the Mead School District ;Abby, an 8th grader at Northwood, Thea, a freshman at the University of Washington and Adam, a 2006 Graduate of the University of Washington.

Vanessa has been actively involved with the Mead School District in many capacities. She has served on every Bond and Levy Committee from 1997 until 2007.

Vanesssa regards her involvement with the foundation as an opportunity to foster the partnership between the district, community and students. Vanessa is presently employed as a Para educator at Shiloh Elementary.
