Vanessa Constable — Secretary and Ex Officio member

Vanessa and her family relocated to the US from Great Britain in 1992 when her husband Derek was transferred to Bayer's (Hollister Stier's) Spokane location.  Vanessa has been employed as an Information Specialist at the British Museum, and at several research universities in the UK. She has also been the National Organizer for a British charity. 

Vanessa and Derek have 3 children: Abby, a 6th grader at Midway, Thea, a junior at Mead and Adam, a 2002 Graduate of Mead and a 2006 Graduate of the University of Washington. 

Vanessa has been actively involved with the Mead School District in many capacities.  She has served on every Bond and Levy Committee since 1997 and is Treasurer of the Mead Citizen”s Advisory Committee. 

Vanesssa regards her involvement with the foundation as an opportunity to foster the partnership between the district, community and students.  Vanessa is presently employed as a Para educator at Midway Elementary.
