Joe Brabeck

Joe Brabeck, who joined the MEF board in the fall of 2005, is an Industrial Account Executive for Avista Utilities and has worked in the electric and natural gas utility industry for over 23 years.  

A graduate of the University of Montana,  Joe has done additional course work at both Whitworth College and Gonzaga University in business management, marketing and organizational leadership.  He has served on a number of committees for the Mead School District including serving as vice-chair for the Facilities Planning Committee, co-chair for the 2004 Bond Election Committee and most recently the District Boundary Review Committee.

Joe and his wife Rachel have three children.  Their two sons graduated from Mead High School and their daughter is currently a junior at Mead High. Their family enjoys camping, hiking, boating, water-skiing, gardening and cooking.   Joe and his wife also like to spend time riding their motorcycles around the back roads of Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
