Mark Barnes

Mark was born in Spokane in 1957. He is a graduate of the Shadle Park High School class of 1976.  He earned an Associate of Arts degree from Spokane Falls Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 1980 from Eastern Washington University.

He married Vicki in 1983.  He has a son, Tyler, born 1985.  Kaitlin, his daughter, was born in 1989.

He worked in the warehouse at National Furniture throughout high school and junior high.  He tried sales in the 1980's. After 5 years he went into wholesale paper sales --- toilet paper mostly and he became the butt of everybody's jokes.  He returned to National Furniture as manager/janitor in 1987.  He still plows that field as owner.

Mark enjoys reading, gardening, astronomy, and especially restoring old cars.  Oh, and MEF is his addiction.
